The Professional Organization for UU Ministers, the UUMA is governed by the membership through an annual meeting preceding the UUA General Assembly each year.

The Executive Committee is responsible for carrying out the work of the UUMA Teh EXEC is composed of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, a Continuing Education representative, a Good Offices representative, an Arrangements person, a Publications person, a Chapter Visits representative and a person for Anti-Racism, Anti-Oppression, Multiculturalism.

Twenty-four chapters around the continent carry out their own programs and maintains close communication with the Executive Committee.
